The Title of the Society and Its Members
Article 1- İstanbul Grand Bazaar Development and Preservation Society is established to develop the Bazaar, which is a national and histarical heritage, to protect the rights and the duties of the tradesmen by unifying their efforts for this cause. We are located on the second floor of the Sorguççu Inn in the center Bazaar. Our founders are listed below;

Article 2 – This society was established to work and inspect for the protection, deaning and arrangement of the current histarical artifact sections since “The place known as the Grand Bazaar which consists of whole and united private prop erties with single roads and corridors, which are not considered as the state’s” according to the title deed records and the State Council’s decision m_ımbered 50/96, and dated 19/8/1338.
The Main Aspiration Article 3 – This Society aims to follow the footsteps of our national leader Kemal Atatürk and observe his principles. Thereby, it is established in accordance with the principles of the Republican People Party. It is approved that this set of 27 regulations is in accordance with the law.After this one, we saw two other sets of regulations from 1952 and 1953. However, the 1952 regulations were more up-to-date than theonesin 1953. The founders of both regulations are the same people. There might be a mistake in the order of the dates. However, the dates of the published regulations are as we stated. The title of the current assodation is the same with the booklet in 1952. Ana Tüzügü 1 9 5 3

The Title : Article 1- The title of the Society is determined as “The Tradesmen Solidartiy And Preservation Society Of Grand Bazaar”.
Article 2- The mission of the Society is to preserve, maintain and defend the mutual interests and rights of the tradesmen, employees and staff, who work in the Grand Bazaar. It also promotes, maintains and preserves friendship and solidarity with respect to the Turkish traditions. It provides the social and cultural needs of the tradesmen. It’ s main purpose is to work and inspect for the protection, deaning and arrangement of the current histarical artifact sections since “The place known as the Grand Bazaar which consist of whole and united private properties with single roads and corridors, which are not considered as the state’s” according to the title deed records and the State Council’s decision numbered 50/96, and dated 19/8/ 1338. The first two articles of the older Statute of the Society was emendated as it is above and accepted as the Statute of the Tradesmen Solidarity and Preservation Society of Grand Bazaar.

Objectives And Activities
2- The mission of the Assodation is to preserve, maintain and defend the mutual interesrs and rights of the tradesmen, employees and staff, who work in the Grand Bazaar. It also promotes, maintains and preserves the friendship and solidarity with respect to the Turkish traditions. It provides the social and cultural needs of the tradesmen. It preserves the architectural and historical structure of the Bazaar.

General Notice : Article 4- The Association cannot engage in politics, or affiliate to any political parties in any case. Article 5- The Assodation has no branch offices anel is forbidden to have any.
